Thursday we took in 3 dogs from a small town animal control facility. One was a Husky, what we were told was a Brittany ( really a German Shorthair Pointer/Brittany mix) and a 7 yr old Shih Tzu. Turns out the Shih Tzu was a owner surrender. 7 yrs old and the owner didn't want him anymore. She got two new dogs!! So she turned her old dog into to AC..isn't that amazing. What is wrong with her? Her pet of 7 yrs was so matted he couldn't poop, pee or see where he was going and he had a fish hook in his tail. This poor guy was in horrible condition and she got TWO new dogs, German Shepherds I am told. I wish someone would turn her into Animal Control.
It is still miserably hot here. It is so hot the dogs poke their heads thru the dog door and as soon as they feel that heat they pull their heads back inside. I wouldn't say they are spoiled but unless I push them thru the dog door and close it off they refuse to go out. Where oh where is fall? They say it will be 90 here next week, well good gosh that is a cold front compared to this.
